So Ryu makes a promise to the dad (imagine a promise every single boyfriend makes to their future father-in-law) and they eat and end of scene. Typical meet and greet for a boyfriend and his girlfriend’s parents right? He goes to lunch (wearing a suit in which holy mother of god he looked so good in, I think my ovaries shot right back up into my stomach), talks to them, tells them how much he loves their daughter, blah blah blah. The core conflict is Ryu trying to get approved by the MC’s parents. I am gonna tell you guys because I don’t want you to think I am exaggerating because I am not. I am sorry, but I cannot understand how anyone got upset over anything. My problem was with how STUPID the conflict was. I am not gonna talk about how this route should’ve been longer since ten chapters never seems like enough for me because the problem wasn’t that it was rushed.

The other guys appeared a lot as well and despite all of them going to different schools, their wonderful friendship still remained as tight as it ever was.īUT! I did not give this route’s plot two stars for no good reason. All his siblings had grown up to become even cuter and we got to see his mom a lot more which was awesome since I loved her in the epilogue. There was also Ryuzo’s incredible family who we got to see a little older. Ryu should not look that yummy if he isn’t gonna sex it up all over the place, just sayin’. THEY FINALLY BOW CHIKA BOW WOWED THANK GOD. Well, he thought about it and she later found out about his thoughts and it made her (and I) smile like crazy. They were closer, more grown up, and knew just what the future for them looked like. Of course, there was the MC and Ryu’s newfound mature relationship. There were a lot of great moments in this route that really stood out for me. (́◉◞౪◟◉‵) I’m all into childish cutie, but mature grown-up thinking about his future with his loved one… -fans self- lord have mercy. He still remained his dorky self at times, but three years with her had made him into a better man than he already was. He would tell her how he loved her and wanted to be with her without stuttering on a single word. But S2 Ryuzo? He would kiss her, hug her, hold her, and touch her without flinching. It would send him straight into panic mode. Not only was he focused in his studies and you could tell had worked hard in college, but he has grown a lot more comfortable in his relationship with the MC. He was faster on his feet, brighter, and more controlled. The guys mention how Ryu had changed the most out of any of them and I could definitely see how. Honest, brave, generous, funny, big-hearted… And mature. Season 2 Ryuzo was also an absolute treasure. Any kind of romance that would occur, even the tiniest thing like holding hands, would set him off into a stumbling, blushing mess. When he developed feelings towards the MC he grew very clumsy and very shy. He was honest, brave, generous, funny, a little weird, kind of an airhead, but a big hearted teddy bear. I wanted a slight change in personality, but it didn’t want it to deviate from season one all too much.ĭid I get that with Ryuzo’s character? I did! I was quite impressed by how much he had actually matured. I wanted it to feel natural and not overly forced. We all take a step towards maturity when we hit a certain age so I wanted to see that in this route. It had been three years since high school and I wanted to see growth. One of the biggest things I was looking for in this route was character development. I wasn’t all that pleased after I read it, but I thought that playing it would give me different feels since it is Ryu who I love oh-so-much and can do no wrong in my heart. My memory was pretty foggy so I didn’t exactly remember everything, but I got the gist. I kind of screwed myself over before playing season two because a while back (around two months ago) I had read a synopsis for this route so I had a pretty good idea of what would happen. He was funny, clumsy, silly, but a big teddy bear who held a lot of passion inside of him. He is a sexy man-child who I adored from the first time I saw his picture and he just stole my heart in season one. Let me start off by saying that I am horribly biased towards Ryu. But now it’s a new week and I knew I had to start it with him.

RYUUUUU~ I was really sad I couldn’t immediately play Ryuzo’s second season right off the bat because this past weekend I was really busy.
